A new book on Eddie Van Halen debuted on Amazon’s bestseller list almost a year to the day after the rock legend passed away.

Eruption: Conversations with Eddie Van Halen was released on October 5 and is currently number eight on Amazon’s list of Best Musicians Biographies and Memoirs (Dave Grohl’s The storyteller: Tales of life and music currently holds first place).

Co-Written by Brad Tolinski, Former Editor-in-Chief of Guitar world magazine, and Chris Gill, former editor of Guitar enthusiast, Eruption is a new oral history of Van Halen’s life and career, drawn from over 50 hours of interviews with the guitarist himself, as well as interviews with family, friends and industry colleagues .
