Niagara Health is hosting a virtual career fair for healthcare workers on February 24

As the country is about to enter its third year of the COVID-19 pandemic, nurses, personal support workers and other healthcare professionals are needed more than ever. Niagara Health is hosting an online job fair this month to recruit workers to join its team.

The February 24 job fair will run from noon to 5 p.m. and will once again be held virtually, due to the pandemic.

The hospital system seeks to attract students, recent graduates, and individuals with experienced healthcare careers to join its team for positions at all of its sites.

Vacancies include licensed practical nurses and licensed practical nurses, personal support workers, occupational and physical therapists, speech language pathologists and rehabilitation assistants. There are also opportunities in administrative and medical administration, environmental services, medical and laboratory device reprocessing, and more.

Participants will meet with managers in the field, ask questions of human resources representatives and may be invited to on-site interviews for open positions.

“Our greatest asset is our people and our greatest reward is the health and well-being of the community,” said Tracey Giovannone, Niagara Health’s volunteer recruitment and resources manager in a press release. “Our teams have shown such courage and commitment over the past two years, and we are looking for healthcare professionals to join us as we emerge from the pandemic together.”

Those interested in registering can go to and create an account profile with their resume and career interests.
