The Law Scholarship is intended to support the study of students seeking to establish a prestigious career in the field of law. Considered one of the favorite career opportunities for students, a law degree program opens doors to various sectors such as legal services, business management as well as administrative services.

GEV Memorial Merit Scholarship

GEV Scholarship Fund Trust under its GEV Memorial Merit Scholarship aims to provide financial support to deserving law students and help them pursue quality legal education in the best institutes in India.

It is open to Indian nationals already enrolled in a year of an LLB/LLM course at a recognized law institute in India or applying for CLAT, LSAT-India or AILET. A minimum of 60% marks in Class X and XII exams is required to qualify for this scholarship. The annual family income should not be more than 10 lakh from all sources. Applicants must be willing to enroll in the annual scholarship fund mentorship programs to assist and nurture the next batch of GEV Merit Scholars.

Aditya Group Scholarships

This scholarship is based on the philosophy of the late Aditya Vikram Birla who is known to be a great leader. This scholarship is achieved by fostering outstanding academic excellence and strong leadership values. This scholarship collaborates with many institutions such as IIT, IIM BITS (Pilani) and law campuses. The law campuses that offer this scholarship are NLS of India Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, NLU Jodhpur, Gujarat National Law University and WB National University of Juridical Sciences Kolkata. They offer a scholarship package of Rs 1,80,000 per year or fees, whichever is lower.

The application procedure for this scholarship is done through an online application process which starts in June-July every year. The application form should be submitted to the Dean of the respective college. At the end, there is a series of interviews for the final selection of candidates.

Central Sector Bursary Program

Several scholarships for LLB students in India are made available by the central and state governments. The main objective of the Central Area Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to deserving students from low-income families. The LLB scholarship is sponsored by the Department of Higher Education, MHRD. A maximum LLB scholarship of INR 10,000 per annum will be presented to qualified applicants at degree level for the first three years of college and university coursework.

Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities

The Minority Post Matric Scholarship was initiated by the Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA), Government of India. This scholarship for BA LLB students in India benefits minority communities of Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains by providing them with the financial advantage of pursuing higher education. It is available to students whose annual household income from all sources does not exceed INR 2 lakhs. Up to INR 20,000 in awards are given for the same including admission, tuition and maintenance allowances for boarders and scholars.

Post-Matric Scholarship for Disabled Students

The post-matric scholarship is managed by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India. It aims to help students suffering from various ailments and disorders. All graduate and postgraduate degrees recognized by UGC/AICTE are covered by this scholarship program. Funding up to INR 4000 is available under post-matric scholarship for deserving applicants.

Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Program

The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation promotes the Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Program to provide financial assistance to deserving students on the basis of “Merit-Cum-Means”, to help them pursue vocational and technical courses at university and university levels. postgraduate. The Fully Funded Merit-Based Science and Law Scholarship is an initiative of the Affidavit Institute of Judicial Practice to sponsor students from around the world pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral program in n any science, engineering, or law program from a university ranked among the top 1000 QS-ranked institutions.

Suitable LLB, Science and Engineering applicants pursuing Masters and PhD programs across the world are eligible and can avail the benefits of the scholarship scheme. Educational and other expenses will be sponsored for deserving applicants upon selection.

Birla Scholarships PNB Housing Finance Limited Protsahan

This scholarship is available to students pursuing the third or fourth year of their five-year BALLB program. The law schools that offer this scholarship are Indira Institute of Management, ICFAI Hyderabad, IMT Nagpur, Army Institute of Law, BIMTECH Greater Noida. This scholarship provides 3 Lakhs per scholarship holder every year. The application process for this scholarship is available in December-February.

Kapila and Nirmal Hingorani Foundation Pegasus Fellowship Program

This fellowship offers a cross-border legal ecosystem and practices to Barristers of Chambers in London, UK. Every lawyer with seven years of practice can apply for this scholarship through its official website. This scholarship covers living expenses for eight weeks.
