Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24 vs 34 Los Angeles Rams Summary: Score, Stats & Highlights | NFL Week 3.

It’s an unbeaten battle in La La Land. Defending Super Bowl champions take cross-country trip to visit Los Angeles Rams’ new look. AS English will provide live coverage, updates, stats and scores from Sunday afternoon’s demo match from SoFi Stadium.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked up where they left off last year. They sacked the 22 starters from last year’s title-winning team, and were the obvious choice for NFC favorites heading into this season.

Two games in the season, and they haven’t done anything to make you doubt their chances of making it to the Conference Championship and beyond.

Bucs opened the season with a narrow 31-29 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on opening night of the NFL season. It took yet another fourth-quarter winning stroke for the Tampa Bay quarterback to beat the Cowboys and their recently returned quarterback Dak Prescott.

Tampa returned to Raymond James Stadium last week and crushed the Atlanta Falcons. This was another solid finish for Brady and the Bucs who scored 20 points in the last quarter. Brady threw for 276 yards and five touchdowns and remains undefeated against Matt Ryan in his career.

Matt Stafford enjoyed a renaissance in Los Angeles, after more than a decade in Detroit. The Rams’ offseason signing looks to be paying off, at least in the first two weeks of the regular season.

2012 Returning Player of the Year threw for 321 yards and 3 touchdowns completing 20 of 26 attempts in the Los Angeles 34-14 against the Chicago Bears.

The Chargers’ next game against the Colts was much closer. The Indianapolis Colts made them sweat until the end, but Carson Wentz’s late-game injury injured the home side and the The Rams held off the Colts with an interception in Indy’s last offensive play of the game.

Stafford was less efficient, going 19/30 with 278 yards and two touchdowns, but made some big plays down the stretch to secure the victory for his team.

Much like the rest of the NFL, Los Angeles running backs have yet to start their season, and with the first rusher Darrell Henderson likely out for today’s game Stafford will need to be even better than he was in the first two games.

The Patriots’ only weakness is on the defensive end of the ball. They have allowed a total of 54 points in their first two games and are allowing more than 350 passing yards to opposing quarterbacks.

On the offensive side, Antonio Brown will be out today after being placed on the COVID / reserve list earlier this week. Brown had a huge game in Week 1 with 121 yards and a touchdown, but had only one reception for 17 yards in the last game. Brady will have plenty of options, but not having his deep threat could hamper the Bucs’ passing game.

It’s Stafford versus Brady, Bucs versus Rams. Kick-off is at 4:25 p.m. ET, from Raymond James Stadium.
