The U.S. Postal Service is looking to hire full-time, part-time and seasonal workers in the area and will host a job fair on Saturday at its processing and delivery center on the north side.
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pittsburgh P&DC located at 1001 California Ave, according to Patty Gonzalez of the human resources department at the regional post office.
Human resources specialists will be available on-site to answer questions and share details about the various positions that start at $ 16.87 per hour.
Positions available include urban transporter assistants, rural transporter associates, postal support workers and mail processing assistants. Posts perform mail handling, mail processing, driving, mail delivery or a combination of these as required.
